Mary Mulae

Mary Mulae concentrates her practice in representing parents and students in special education matters and special education litigation. In her work at Children’s Law Group, Mary combines her years of experience as attorney representing clients in complex administrative and appellate matters with her experiences and insights as a parent of a student on the autism spectrum.  Mary is a recognized advocate for families of children with disabilities throughout the Chicago area. She regularly speaks to advocacy and parent groups on legal issues related to children with special needs and on developing transition plans that incorporate meaningful work, academic, and social experiences for young adults with disabilities. Mary has participated in the Next Steps ISBE transition training for parents and professionals. 
 
Mary holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science with honors from National College of Education in Evanston, Illinois, and a law degree with honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.
